My Evaluation
Packaging:
- Hydrogel makes the patches themselves naturally cool to the touch.
- The patches aren't overly slick or slippery, so I don't have any issue picking them up with the spatula or my fingers.
- Just enough serum is present in the tub to cover the patches; it is not overflowing.
How I Apply It:
- After toning in the morning, I immediately use this.
- I put and leave for five minutes since I don't have the time or patience to leave them on for ten. And that's okay for me since I can gently tap the product after applying it to my undereye area.
- I haven't used this for frown lines since I don't think caffeine-infused strips are necessary for those areas.
- Since I don't find this moisturizing but find hydrate, I often add an eye cream on top.
- I apply these patches, remove the pads, and tap the substance into my skin before applying my eye cream.
Guidelines:
- Apply to dry, clean skin. Set the clock for approximately ten to fifteen minutes.
- Remove any serum still on the skin with care and massage it in.
- Appropriate for everyday usage.
- Used anywhere your skin needs an uplifting pick-me-up, such as beneath the eyes, on frown lines, etc.
Texture:
- Unexpectedly, I imagined that this would be a difficult-to-maneuver gel patch. It's not, though.
- It implies that these patches won't slide around on my cheeks and come off at the drop of a hat.
- It does tend to slip down a bit lower than my bottom lash line because I put my patches right up to that line.
- For me, it clings and remains without bothering me. For certain people, this may not apply.
- After I've removed the patch and rubbed the remaining serum beneath my eyes, the serum itself is good; it's not crusty or sticky and glides.
- I can assume that the fact that the patches feel chilly to the touch plays a big part in de-puffing the eyes. It is successful.
- After removing the patches, it feels good to gently massage the area around my eyes with my ring finger to reduce any remaining puffiness and ensure the substance is absorbed. It feels cold and revitalizing.
Smell?:
- None! It's fantastic that they are unscented because I'm not a fan of scent or essential oils, especially around the eyes. After all, they are so sensitive.
Effective Under Makeup?:
- Yes, everything looks to be okay! (I use concealer after tapping in the remaining product and waiting for the product to absorb completely for about a minute or two.)
Suitable under SPF?:
- Yes! Do not ball up. It has been my regular use for about a month.
The Impact:
- Moisturize around the eyes! Even if it's merely because the patches are "cold," it helps that I feel more awake.
What I Relish
- Not too messy or sticky.
- No clumping underneath other products.
- Not Scented.
- Included a Spatula.
- Simple to transport.
- Non-irritating (for me).
- Did moisten my under-eye area.
- Not excessively slick and saturated.
- Aided in reducing morning puffiness.
What I find appalling
- Under-eye dark circles haven't changed significantly.
- Not Particularly hydrating.
